Rachid RAHALI
Houcine obtained his Master’s Degree in organic and biomolecules chemistry in 2003 from Science University in Montpellier.
Rachid obtained his Master’s Degree in organic and biomolecules chemistry in 2002 from Science University in Montpellier.
In 2002 Rachid joined the research laboratories Chrysalon – Urogène then Pierre-Fabre Médicament. Houcine joined him in 2004, they acquired expertise in parallel chemistry and multi-component reaction for the development of libraries of heterocyclic kinase inhibitor molecules.
In 2007 they joined the Idenix Pharmaceuticals laboratory and then MSD (Merck & Co.) in 2014 where they developed their expertise in nucleoside , prodrug, macrocylic, heterocyclic drug candidate in various therapeutic areas including antivirals (HIV, HCV) and oncology.
They have 18 years of experience in medicinal chemistry. They are co-inventors of 15 patents and co-authors of 10 publications.
